HearseCon

Went out with the Southwest Photo Team, and took pictures at HearseCon.  It was interesting to see the originality and artistry with that group of folks.  Many folks in the photo team commented on this picture.

Macro Photography with the D800

Later in during the growing season the Denver Botanic Gardens stays open later in the evening.  I like it since you can avoid the heat of the day and get some better light.

Night Photography

Went out last weekend with Mike Berenson at Summit Lake on Mt. Evans.  I was glad to get out and do some night photography.  Mike has a good teaching style and you can find more info about his classes at Colorado Captures where he talks about his classes and has some great shots.

Went out with the Southwest Photo Team to photograph the Denver Chalk festival.  As you can tell this lady gets into her artwork from the colors of her jeans.

St Elizabeth's church

I took this picture when I was out with the Front Range Photography meetup group.  Many times, you find that the skies aren’t what you want in a picture.  When I saw the sky that evening I knew I had to take this picture.
